| We hear all the time people talking about "the Palestinian cause". But what exactly is the Palestinian cause? Well, it depends on who you ask. The average Jew is expected to be offended or upset when hearing about "the Palestinian cause" because they falsely believe the one bringing the cause into question has an Israel-rejectionism agenda. But if we take a look at what the Palestinian cause really is (or what it should be), we will realize that the vast majority of zionists have nothing to fear from their cause becoming a reality. The Palestinian cause is simply creating a viable, independent, and free Palestinian state, side by side with Israel with no illegal settlements and no Israeli forces on or in control of Palestinian land. This is, off course, easier said than done. The vast majority of the world, including the United States, The EU, The UN, and the Arab world to some extent supports this idea and therefore supports "the Palestinian cause". And lets not forget Israel. They would love it if they no longer had to worry about their pizza parlors or dance clubs blowing up, or katusha rockets hitting them or their homes. To a simple minded person it would be easy to ask "why doesn't Israel remove all the settlements and roadblocks and leave all of Palestine alone so BOTH the Israeli and Palestinian causes can be acheived". This naive question, while well intended, is totally ignoring the reality of the situation and the sad and unfortunate fact that the Palestinians (along with Iran and Syria) are the only ones who dont support the true "Palestinian cause". Well maybe its wrong to say Iran and Syria "dont support it". Rather they have a different view on what "the Palestinian cause" is. Simply put: they believe the Palestinian cause is to bring down the Jewish state of Israel and replace it with an Arab state. All the foreign Jews will be sent back to their native countries and the native Palestinian Jews will live in Palestine under Islamic law as second class citizens. Gaza and the West Bank (land which legally belong to the Palestinians under UN resolution 181) is not enough for what the Palestinians and Iran, as well as some other rouges in the world, want for the Palestinian people. The Palestinians and Iran dont care how much blood needs to be shed or how many people need to be killed for their delusional fantasy of Israel being destroyed to become real. Therefore anyone who interprets the Palestinian cause as getting rid of Israel should have no say in what goes on in the region or what deals are struck between Israel and The Palestinians. Some may cover up their intentions to destroy Israel and put a much more civilized face on the rogue Palestinian cause. These peoples have created a concept known as "the right of return". The right of return is intended to allow the decedents of 750,000 Arab Palestinians (now nearly 4 million people) into Israel so it is no longer a Jewish state. It goes without saying that the decedents of Jewish refugees from Arab lands get no rights of return whatsoever under the concept of "the right of return". There is a rightful place to fight for the Palestinian cause and every decent human being should be aware of Palestinian suffering and support the correct palestinian cause, which is creating a viable, independent, and free Palestinian state, side by side with Israel with no illegal settlements and no Israeli forces on or in control of Palestinian land. The world should point the finger of blame on rogue entities who want to destroy Israel for the miserable conditions of the Palestinians. Few can argue that Iran or Hamas have honest intentions to help the true Palestinian cause. Any thought of Israel-rejectionism should immidietly be rejected in and of itself. Israel has the right to exist securely on all lands appropriated to it in UN resolution 181. This is the Jewish/Israeli cause which every decent human being who believes in law and order should also support. |
