Guidelines For Submitting a Commentary
TheMiddleEastNow encourages its readers to send commentary, their own or someone else's, to us for review and possible publication. Full credit will be given to the authors of all accepted commentaries, including the name, occupation, and merits as well as all links if applicable.

General Guidelines

1. Commentary must be well-written

2. Subject of the commentary must be relevant to the middle east.

3. No extremist ideology.

4. No Commentaries containing false content or inaccurate statistics.

5. No bigotry or racism.

6. NO RELIGIOUS ARGUMENTS!!!


Commentaries dissenting the general views of TheMiddleEastNow are accepted as long as they follow the above guidelines.

*Remember, TheMiddleEastNow may reject a commentary, at its discretion, even if it follows all of the above guidelines have been followed. Likewise, TheMiddleEastNow may waive one or more of the above guidelines at it's discretion.

Readers may write their own commentary, or refer another individual's writing which they believe desserves to be promoted.

After receiving and accepting a commentary, TheMiddleEastNow may...
1.) publish the commentary on TheMiddleEastNow and post it on the front page in the commentaries section
2.) publish the page, but only post it once on the "news" section. After about 2 weeks, the commentary will be moved to the archive section and will no longer appear on the front page.
3.) If the commentary is published on another website, TheMiddleEastNow may simply post a link to the commentary on the "news" section.

There is no plagiarism allowed. All plagiarised material will be immidietly removed from the site.

The author has the right to withdraw his/her commentary at anytime by requesting in writing that the commentary be removed from the website and/or front page. TheMiddleEastNow also reserves the right to remove a commentary from the site at any time.
